Aurora Homeless Assistance Programs - The city of Aurora (as an entity) does not provide subsidized housing or financial assistance with late rental payments. There are subsidized housing programs in the community, however programs availability is limited and sometimes unavailable. Subsidized housing availability should always be verified before relocation to the metro Denver area.

Aurora Warms the NightAurora Warms the Night (AWTN) shelters those experiencing homelessness in the winter when temperatures reach 20 degrees or colder.  Year round services include meals, warm clothing, hygiene items, transportation to shelter, laundry vouchers, bus passes, partner agency referrals, and advocacy.  Our partner provider services are located onsite in our building and include mental health services, health care clinics, workforce education for clients including resume writing, interviewing skills, job coaching assistance, food assistance (SNAPS), SSI, and SSDI application assistance; and veterans’ services.

Catholic Charities Emergency Assistance Centers
Providing a full-range of emergency services including food and clothing. Locations in Metro Denver and Northern Colorado. Call for an appointment.

Trojan Wellness Clinic  303-326-1570  is a school-based health services to children ages 0-18 providing medical, dental and mental health services.

Dawn Clinic  - (18 & over) Empower the under-served, Inspire future healthcare leaders, Transform Aurora’s health. We provide patient centered care to meet the needs of the diverse under-served population of Aurora. We collaborate with community partners to overcome socioeconomic and cultural barriers to patient health and wellness. We cultivate passion for under-served healthcare through inter-professional teamwork. We foster future providers to become leaders who are proponents for change in primary care.

Denver Rescue Mission
The Denver Rescue Mission provides shelter, food, clothing, education, Christian teaching, and work discipline to meet individuals at their physical and spiritual points of need.

Denver Urban Ministries
DENUM's Outreach Services provide the essentials of food, clothing, rent/utility assistance, infant items, and legal advice to enable those in crisis to reach a level of stabilization.

Emergency Family Assistance Association
Working in cooperation with other human service organizations, schools, congregations and local police departments, EFAA serves as the hub of a coordinated network of helpers in Boulder. EFAA provides food, financial assistance programs, emergency shelter and transitional housing programs 
Providing basic human services and enrichment programs
to low-income people using community resources in Centennial, Englewood, Glendale, Highlands Ranch, Littleton, Lone Tree, Sheridan and unincorporated Arapahoe County.

Gabriel House - Gabriel House is a network of parishes and volunteers that assist families throughout Northern Colorado. We are committed to providing much-needed supplies to mothers and families with young children.

Mile High United Way
The mission of the United Way is to unite and focus the community's resources to help people help themselves. The organization provides emergency assistance, including shelter, food, clothing, and affordable health care.

Park Hill United Methodist Church
Helping people who are hospitalized, homebound, in care facilities, lonely or discouraged because of loss of job, health changes, grief issues, etc.

Servicios de la Raza
This program handles “walk-ins” and crisis situations, offering a food and clothing bank. Focus is Latinos and Spanish-speaking.

Volunteers of America
VOA serves the basic needs of the most vulnerable individuals and families in the community through 32 programs, each addressing three of the most basic needs: nutrition, housing and emergency services.

Women's Bean Project
Helping women break the cycle of poverty and unemployment. We teach workplace competencies for entry-level jobs through employment and by teaching job readiness and life skills in our gourmet food production business.
