Special Education

Theresa (Tracy) Leming - ESS Teacher

I am beyond excited about working with the Vaughn community this year. Last year, I served as a teacher resident in a third-grade classroom at Mosley P-8 as part of the Boettcher Teacher Residency program. I am currently finishing up a master's degree in teaching diverse learners (culturally and linguistically diverse and special education) through the University of Northern Colorado. (I also have a law degree from the University of Colorado and a library science degree from the University of Denver.)

I have three children, one of whom has autism. The teachers who helped my son find success in school were my inspiration for changing my career from the legal field to education.
My job is to accelerate learning for every APS student, every day. I do my job by using evidence-based instructional techniques and relentless love to help students with disabilities access the general curriculum and grow as valued members of their communities. My community needs me to do my job.

Patrick Repasky, Psychologist/MTSS

Patrick Repasky

My name is Patrick Repasky and I am so excited to be the School Psychologist at Vaughn! I’m originally from Michigan and recently moved to Colorado from Pennsylvania. I graduated from Michigan State University (Go Green!) and received a Master’s in Education and Educational Specialist Degree from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA. For the past 6 years, I have worked with students, educators, and families as a behavioral consultant and I am thrilled to be working with the great students, families, and staff here at Vaughn! When I am not at school, I like to spend my time outdoors biking, running, hiking and skiing. I also enjoy meeting new people and experiencing new cultures, especially through travel and food. I am very excited about this year and look forward getting to know all of the students and families of the Vaughn community.
