Hello Vaughn Community,
We have arrived at a new school year and my hope is that we can continue on the path to continued improvement in not only our academic achievement in students also in their mental well being. Thank you so much for continuing to trust us in serving your students. I know that we have experienced a very challenging and disruptive 2020 but we at Vaughn will continue to adhere to strict guidelines set forth by the Colorado Department of Health to ensure the health and well being of our students and staff.
I want to encourage you to reach out for support whatever it may be. We will continue to provide bi-weekly food bags to all students. We will also be providing some extra supports for mental health well-being in that of our students and staff. If you are interested in learning English we will continue to have our Family Literacy Program which provides free English classes as well as free daycare. We will also be having quarterly School Accountability Committee meetings as well as our monthly Parent Coffees and Fun and Informative Events. Please visit our Facebook page and our website for up to date information.
I look forward to seeing you in the building as volunteers, attendees to our events and coffees as well as to just say hello and let us know how you are doing and if you need help, please do not hesitate to ask. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to me at [email protected] .
In the meantime, stay healthy!
Jen Dichter
