I have been an elementary art teacher in APS for 15 years and an artist since I was a child. I graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a degree in art education.
As an artist, I enjoy drawing and painting. I make a lot of art at home and some are featured in art galleries/publications. I currently have been making/publishing comics online and in books. I also co-host a podcast about comics.
In my personal time, I sing in a community chorus in Denver. I also lead an art group in a program called "Voz y Corazon" for at risk youth through the Mental Health Center of Denver.
