Hello Vaughn Community,
I will be the new Principal for Vaughn Elementary starting in July 2018. I am very much looking forward to serving the Vaughn Community and can’t wait to meet everyone.
I wanted to share a little bit about myself. I am a mother of two boys who are 4 and 7. I have been the Principal at Sable Elementary for the past 7 years and have been in Aurora Public Schools for 18 years. I have served in North Aurora for my entire Aurora Public Schools career and I am dedicated to supporting students with what they need to be successful.

My job is to accelerate learning for every APS student every day. I do my job by ensuring teachers have the resources, supports, and knowledge in order to create rigorous learning experiences for EVERY STUDENT, EVERY DAY. My community needs me to do my job!

Yo voy a ser la Directora de la Primaria Vaughn empezando este Julio 2018. Espero con placer a servir la comunidad de Vaughn y a reunirme con todos.
Quería compartir un poco sobre mí. Soy madre de dos niños de los edades 4 y 7. He sido la directora de la Primaria Sable para los pasados 7 años y en el Distrito de Aurora para 18 años. He servido en el Norte de Aurora por todo mi carrera en las Escuelas Públicas de Aurora y estoy dedicada en apoyando a los estudiantes con todo lo que necesitan para ser exitosos.

Mi trabajo es u acelerar el aprendizaje de cada estudiante de APS todos los días. Yo hago esto asegurando que las maestras tienen los recursos, apoyos y conocimiento para poder crear experiencias rigorosos para TODOS LOS ESTUDIANTES, TODOS LOS DIAS. ¡Mi comunidad necesita que yo haga mi trabajo!
