This is my fourth year at Vaughn as the school clerk. I started off as a volunteer, then I was hired as a paraeducator and now I am the clerk. I started off as a parent volunteer when my oldest son started Kindergarten. I made sure to be very active so I could not only keep an eye on my three boys but also to learn how to help my children succeed in school. I am very happy to be a part of the Vaughn staff!
Este es mi cuarto año en la escuela Vaughn. Empece como voluntario, después me contrataron como ayudante de maestros y ahora soy la Asistente Secretaria. Empece como voluntario cuando mi hijo mayor empezó el Kinder. Quise ser muy activa en la escuela no solamente para estar alpendiente de mis tres hijos pero también para aprender como ayudarlos a ser exitosos en la escuela. Estoy muy feliz de ser parte del personal de Vaughn!

Hello, my name is Imelda Morales. I am the Health Clerk here at Vaughn. I also have a daughter and son that are in middle school and high school but attended Vaughn Elementary. I really enjoy working with all the students and staff and I'm looking forward to another wonderful year.
Hola, mi nombre es Imelda Morales. Trabsajo Ayudante de Salud aquí en la escuela Vaughn. También tengo a mi hija e hijo en la secundario pero asistieron aquí en la Escuela Vaughn. Es un gusto para mí trabajar con todos los estudiantes y maestros. Espero tener un año maravilloso.

I am Minnie Pescador and I am the Family Liaison and COMPASS Afterschool Program Coordinator. I am married and have two sons. I am originally from California. We moved to Colorado back in 1995 and we love it here! When I am not working, I enjoy reading and spending time with my family doing whatever comes to mind. I wear many hats in my position but my main focus is to involve parents in their children's education. I encourage you to reach out for whatever you may need and don't be surprised if I reach out to you as well. The secret to your child's success in school lies in your involvement now and throughout their remaining years in school.
Yo soy Minerva Pescador y soy la Liaison de Familias y Coordinadora del Programa COMPASS después de la Escuela. Estoy casada y tenemos dos hijos. Originalmente somos de California y nos mudamos a Colorado en el 1995 y nos encanta aquí! Cuando no estoy trabajando, me gusta leer y andar con mi familia haciendo cualquier cosa. Tengo muchos responsabilidades en mi posición pero mi mayor enfoque es involucrar a los padres en el aprendizaje de sus hijos. Los animo a comunicarse con migo por cualquier necesidad que tenga y no se sorprende si yo me comunico con usted también. El secreto a que su hijo/a tenga éxito en la escuela es su involucra miento hoy y durante los años que le queda en la escuela.
